May Day Rally: Fighting for the NHS

Speaking at today’s May Day Rally in Leicester, Tom Barker finished his speech by saying:

“Building upon the success of the Glenfield campaign, we have now set up a second campaign called Save Our NHS Leicestershire. We call upon the trade union movement in Leicestershire and Rutland to join our campaign and help roll back the tide of cuts and privatisation in the NHS!

“We will be holding our first steering committee meeting on Monday 14 May 2018 at 7.15pm, at the Unite Office down Burleys.

“The steering committee meeting will give us an opportunity to discuss plans to build the campaign and what we should focus on. But we need YOU to get involved! Please join us in building upon the Glenfield victory and support this vitally important campaign.”
