The First Socialist Election Broadcast For a Long Time!

The Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC) election broadcast with Dave Nellist was on TV tonight (Friday) – did you see it? You can watch it online here!

TUSC and Leicester Independent Councillors Against Cuts have also been very busy in Leicester. Today we featured in the Leicester Mercury, after holding a protest against low pay in the fast food sector.

Tomorrow, we are leafleting in town with campaigners from 11am with 38degress (meeting by the Leicester Town Hall Square Fountain) to raise awareness of the anti-democratic implications of TTIP (the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership).

Later at 2.30pm we will then be holding a public meeting in Madison’s Cafe on London Road to meet people interested in finding our more about us, or in getting involved with our work in Leicester.
